Animal Adaptations

Here is a list of five animal adaptations in the savanna.

In the savanna the zebra's adaptations are it being camouflaged and its speed. The speed helps them run away from their predators and camouflage makes it hard for a predator to go after only one in a group. The next is the elephant. Elephants have very long and large trunks so the can bring food and water to their mouths. They also have large tusks so they can fight off any animals that try to attack them.

The next is the cheetah. They use their speed so they can catch their prey and camouflage so they can stalk their prey. The next is the Dung Beetle. They use the dung from an rhino to lay their eggs in. And Last but not least the meerkat. The meerkat uses its claws to dig tunnels under the ground for a home and for shelter from predators. They also use the under ground to eat insects and they have dark rings around their eyes so they can keep a good look out.
