General Description of the Savannah
Savannas are described as rolling grasslands with shrubs and isolated trees here and there. They can be found around tropical rain forests and deserts. They are placed around the equator on the edges of tropical rain forests. The savannas don’t get enough rain to help support the forests around them. They are known as tropical grasslands.
